Shipping

Where can I see my order status?

You’ll receive emails from us when your order has been received by our Team and when it’s been fulfilled. You can easily track your order via the Royal Mail website https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item using the tracking number linked to your order.

When will my order arrive?

As a guide we suggest up to 3 days for our standard post or 1-2 days for special delivery, however, we cannot be held responsible by delays caused by Royal Mail. Your order’s processing time will depend on when the order was placed in relation to our opening hours. 

Do you ship internationally?

We are a small business and due to Brexit we currently do not ship items outside the UK. We apologise for any inconvenience .

Payment & Orders

Do you offer refunds?

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. We can offer return for refund on all items purchased from us online, with the exception of custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), and earrings (for hygiene reasons).

Do you offer gift wrapping?

All orders are picked, prepped and packed by members of our dedicated Team based at our store in Dodworth, Barnsley. If you require gift wrapping please contact us directly and we will be happy to arrange this for you.

Is your packaging sustainable?

Yes: Our specially selected WJ Shaw packaging is supplied by Dahlinger: a family business with a rich 150 year history. They are passionate about the responsible use of resources, ethical and social sustainability and are FSC Certified (licence no. FSC-C153455).

What is your warranty?

As standard we offer a 1 year warranty against manufacturing fault. Please note, selected Brands (Bering, Clogau, Little Star, Kit Heath, Nomination, Ti Sento) also offer warranties with their items which you will automatically receive should you purchase one of their products from us. For more detailed information on specific item warranties please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

How do I take care of my new jewellery?
  • Take your jewellery off if you're involved in any activity which could scratch, impact or damage it. If in any doubt, take it off and keep it safe.
  • Take it off when you go to bed.
  • Keep it well away from chemicals, especially chlorine. If it does come into contact with chemicals, rinse it in water immediately.
  • Bathe and apply any lotions or perfumes before you put your jewellery on. Organic gemstones like pearls and opals are particularly vulnerable to acids, even perspiration.
  • Store it separately, ideally in a soft-lined box or case, so that your favourite pieces don't tangle, rub or scratch one another. Pearls in particular should be kept separately as they are easily scratched by hard gemstones.
  • Make sure chains and necklaces are fastened when storing to avoid tangling.
  • Remove jewellery while cooking, cleaning and washing up.
  • When storing jewellery, please keep it away from sunlight, excessive heat or damp conditions.
Do you use ethically sourced materials?

Yes: as a small independent we have complete autonomy over the choice of suppliers and materials we use. All our bullion partners are carefully selected and use one or more of the following: Single Mine Origin (SMO) Gold, Recycled Gold and Silver, Fair Trade Gold, Fair Mined Gold. All our diamonds are affiliated with the Kimberley Process.

What's the timeframe for crafting a custom piece of jewellery?

Crafting a piece to your specifications takes 4 to 10 weeks, depending on design complexity. A simple ring band completes in about 4 weeks, while a fully handmade-shaped wedding ring may require up to 10. Following a no-obligation appointment, we provide a confirmed description, quotations, and, upon your final selection, a deposit to confirm and fix the order price.

How long does it typically take to create an engagement or wedding ring?

A bespoke engagement or wedding ring may take as little as 3 to 4 weeks for a standard ring band or 8 to 10 weeks for a handmade-shaped or more complex design.

What is a hallmark?

A hallmark is a mark placed on or inside jewellery by an independent body known as the Assay Office. This serves as your guarantee that the purchased jewellery is authentic and made from the specified metal. Different metals carry distinct hallmarks reflecting their type and purity. We are registered with Sheffield & Birmingham Assay Offices.
