We often get asked, do you offer ear piercing? It’s not something we’ve previously had the capacity for… however Lara, Tanya, Darren, Laura, Natalie, Heather & Julia have all been doing some specialist training and so we’re proud to announce that we are all officially certified and from July we will be offering ear piercing, by appointment only. On certain days, our consultation room will be converted into a sterile ear-piercing room for those aged 7 and above.
We will be using the Inverness system, which is a safe and gentle ear-piercing method used worldwide. It has been trusted for over 45 years, with more than 200 million ears pierced globally in over 70 countries. The system is widely recognised for its medically-hygienic approach and hypoallergenic materials.
It’s peace of mind piercing, as Inverness is the only ear piercing system that features fully-enclosed sterile capsules, to protect the piercing earring from exposure to possible contaminants prior to piercing.
It’s a very gentle, quiet and easy to use piercing mechanism, with the hand-pressured instrument using 23% less force than traditional piercing guns, reducing tissue trauma and discomfort.
The earrings we will be offering are in 14K & 24K gold plated medical-grade stainless steel and titanium, so they are suitable for even the most sensitive of ears. They also come with the trademarked Inverness Safety Back- this exclusive feature, shields the piercing tip and prevents the earring back from being overtightened, promoting safe healing.
How it works;
Piercing with Inverness follows three simple steps:
- Cleanse- the ear is sanitised before piercing
- Mark- the desired piercing location is placed on the ear & checked by you
- Pierce- the sterile earring cartridge is ejected cleanly, without touching the earring, ensuring hygiene and safety.
